Rules, penalties and conditions for all participants

Standards

General rules

  • All 3 stages are mandatory without exception.
  • Not starting Stage 1 or 2 means automatic disqualification (no access to remaining stages or campsites).
  • Runner number visible at all times.
  • Mandatory items carried at all times.
  • Ropes are not allowed (except those built into the backpack) to pull fellow runners.
  • External assistance is not allowed.
  • Verbal or physical abuse toward the staff is prohibited.
  • Overtaking only on the left with prior notice.
  • The leading runner must yield the way.
  • The bag must be handed in the day before; late delivery has a cost of USD 15.
  • Items outside the bag are not allowed.
  • The organization is not responsible for lost items.

Terms and conditions

  • Each participant registers at their own risk.
  • The organization is released from all civil and criminal liability.
  • The organization may prohibit the start or continuation on medical advice.
  • The organization covers transport to the nearest hospital; all other costs are the participant's responsibility.
  • Images of the competition may be used by Club de Corredores and sponsors.
  • The organization has full power to shorten the course, stop the race or modify the routes.
  • Force majeure events (earthquakes, floods, national park closures) may affect the competition.
  • In the event of postponement, suspension or cancellation: the amount is transferable to the next edition, it is NOT refundable.
  • Registration implies acceptance of all terms.
Legal

Liability waiver

Comprehensive waiver acknowledging the risks of an extreme adventure race including injury, fracture, loss and death. Participants release Club de Corredores Asociacion Civil, ST Producciones S.A., Sebastian Rafael Tagle, Saucony, BRAKU S.A., Wolverine World Wide, sponsors and all parties involved.

Time limits

15 minutes per kilometer. Cutoff after 70% of each stage. Runners who do not reach the cutoff receive an alternative medal.

Withdrawal

Notify at the control points during stages. At campsites: notify at the Information tent. No immediate transport is available. The bag will be available from 7 pm at Cerro Catedral.

Requirements

Medical certificate

  • Certificate dated after December 6, 2025.
  • Upload it to www.entryfee.com.ar (profile > utilities).
  • Runners aged 70 or older need a certificate specifying fitness for El Cruce with adequate training.
  • Certificate template available for download on the site.
